As part of Joe Weider's 2000 Weider Awards held on October 22, 2000 Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas, Nevada

Congratulations and Thank You for requested information for one of the largest Model Quest of its type in the World. "Joe Weider's 2000 Model Quest" is a search for one Women and one Man who will be the Weider Woman and the Weider Man. They must be able to portray a clean and healthy lifestyle in the fitness, health, modeling and fashion world. Joe Weider the Father of Fitness, Health and Bodybuilding, the Master Blaster, and the Trainer of Champions will have his own Awards show for the industry. We are looking for that special person who is a photographers dream come true. It could be You!

You must to be 18 years or older. Loves to workout, look athletic, are in great shape, wear clothes to the tee, and look eye popping in a swimsuit! You must have the killer Instinct and show a professional look while having fun in front of the camera. You needn't qualifiy at any other contest or model search to enter. However, the more experience you have could never hurt. This is NOT Beauty Pageant, bodybuilding or a fitness Championships. We are looking for a female that has the look between fitness and fashion. We are looking for a male who has a six pack, is good looking in great shape, and has a smile that could melt a women's heart. We are looking for the women or man with the look that will turn heads. We know your out there! Don't just think about. Enter today and tell a friend!

We are prepared to search in every country for the right Woman and Man. From the smallest towns in America, to the bright lights of Hollywood, Las Vegas, New York and out into the great unknowns of Europe, South America and beyond. You could be a total unknown or already a cover girl or guy. But, unless you enter you might miss the greatest and life-changing experience ever. The opportunities are endless and the rewards are many. You might have the opportunity to be selected at random to appear in video's, television talk shows, commercials, endorse products, magazines, model shoots, feature work, promotions, calendars, posters and more.

PHOTO'S It is very important to send us good photo's of yourself as requested on your entry form. This event will be pre-Judged however, the photo's you send us will decide if you are to be in the top running and your placement. Once we receive your photo's this will be followed up by a personal phone call by a committee member or a letter. Models must send us four separate 4" x 6" or 8" x 10" color photos of yourself taken within the last year or a good color or black and white zed card. Send us the following: (1). A head shot. (2). A swimsuit shot in a two piece (3). Full body shot . (4). Workout or Action shot. Your photo's must portray how great you can look. (No video tapes are necessary).

We suggest you study fashion and fitness magazines and see how professional models very their look. We will need to see your change looks, change feels, and show us the many facets of your character and your KILLER INSTINCT. You will find your own special style, (practice, practice, practice in front of a mirror) and you will bring out the best in you. Photo and entry deadline is September 1, 2000. (Please read entry form for details).

NOTE: (Send in your photo's early so you might be selected to be in) "WILED ON THE RIVIERA PHOTO DAY WITH WORLD FAMOUS PHOTOGRAPHER "PER BERNAL". Make sure you fill in all information about yourself. Fill in all the blanks.

(1). August 19, 2000 will be the Location at the Multi Million dollar Betty Davis Estate on the beach in Laguna Beach California will be the setting for "WILD ON THE RIVIERA PHOTO DAY". (See Bettie Davis PHOTO SHOOT). World famous photographer Per Bernal will be shooting girls and guys in this hot photo shoot for (Cover Photo Shoot). "The making of the Weider Girl and Guy". If selected for this beach photo shoot you might show off the new swim suits, fashion apparel and high fashion for Addict Aerobic line, Nutri-Sport wear, tasting H2O water, driving a new VehiCROSS By ISUZU, signing autographs, doing news spots etc. (Note: This photo shoot is not mandatory and will not be part of the judging. However, we feel this will be a chance of a lifetime to be shot by world famous photographer Per Bernal. (Send in your photo's early). Before the August 19, to enter ! (The above photo shoot in not mandatory for entering the Model Quest in October 2000).

(2). Pre-Judging CHECK-INS and meet and greet day. In order to be fair and have a better look at all the contestants from the photos that were sent to us. This major event will have on stage pre-judged to decide who the top female and male finalist will be. Because we have received many requests for entry forms the venue originally reserved for pre-judging has become too small to accommodate all of the contestants. We will announced our new pre-judging venue and date no later than August 30, 2000. This will allow you plenty of advance notice to book hotels and airlines. Count on this date being held on the 20 or 21 of October. You will receive personal call or letter within the next few weeks.

(3). At the pre-Judging you will meet with Modeling and Talent agencies for possible placement depending upon your look. If you have photo's, a portfolio, zed card, and a bio please bring them for talent agents, fashion designers, magazines and the camera crew. They will be there to catch a glimpse of the new faces for the 2000 Weider Model Quest. While in Las Vegas Some of the contestants may be asked to perform on the dance floor with evening attire, try their hand at the black-jack tables, drive a special Vehi-CROSS by ISUZU, sign autographs and even play bar tender. The fun and excitement will help to show off the different facets to your personality. Again, please fill in all information to the best of your knowledge. (See entry form for more details). Top ten Women and Men will be chosen at pre-judging to go on to finals on October 22, 2000.

(4). This event is open to anyone world wide with the fire to change their life. Everyone is welcome to enter and no one is turned away. However, you must send in your entry form with photo's to be reviewed by our panel of judges before you can enter. You must be registered in order to enter. Send all entry forms to our P. O. Box listed below. Note: We do not, nor have we ever needed a video tape to enter this event. (5).The finals will be held at the FOUR SEASONS HOTEL the Mr. Olympia Weekend on Sunday October 22. The Four Seasons Hotel is located on the same property as the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino. THE FOUR SEASONS HOTEL IS THE CITY'S FIRST AND ONLY FIVE DIAMOND HOTEL IN LAS VEGAS.

Fashion designer Alex Matthews who is also one of the nominees for "Designer of the Year" at the 2000 Weider Awards. Will have you take your final walk in her magnificent swimsuit line at the FOUR SEASONS HOTEL. Some models may be chosen for other awards of merit by sponsors because of their beautiful skin or unbelievable smile.

(6).The 2000 Weider Model Quest top ten in each class for men and women will be chosen. They will be selected and possibly asked to preform at different settings for the photographers and crew on location. This will lead up to the final day at the FOUR SEASONS HOTEL on October 22, 2000. There the top five will be chosen live on stage. THE FOUR SEASONS HOTEL IS THE CITY'S FIRST AND ONLY FIVE DIAMOND HOTEL IN LAS VEGAS.

1. The first 200 models entering will receive over $150.00 worth of Health products from Twin labs and Logic Nutrition. A nice gift bag from Nutri-Sport. Hair and beauty products by Paul Mitchell. Twelve months subscription to Fit Magazine , Tanning products Sun Laboratories, Sun Glasses by Personal Optical, total value of over $150.00. All prizes and products must be picked up at the Meet and Greet pre-judging only.

2. The Ladies top five runner's up will receive a beautiful quartz MAURICE LACROIX Swiss watch. Stainless Steel , sapphire crystal, screw-in crown $895.00 retail.

3. The Men's top five runner's up will receive a bold MAURICE LACROIX Swiss quartz watch. Stainless Steel , sapphire crystal, screw-in crown $995.00 retail.

4. Ladies first place winner will receive a MAURICE LACROIX Swiss watch with mother of pearl, dial w/diamonds. Valued at $2.295.00

5. Men's first place winner will receive a MAURICE LACROIX Swiss watch with Stainless Steel , sapphire crystal, w/see through back. Valued at $2.395.00

6. The top five finalist in each women's and men's class will receive clothing from the following companies: Addtict Active Wear, Nutri-Sport Wear, No Limits, Heavy Wear, Kamakazi, and Swim-N-Fitness. The total value of $20,000.00 worth of fitness clothing will be divided in the following: First place winners in each class will receive $7,500.00 worth of Addict Active Wear. Second - Fifth place finalists will receive over $4,000.00 worth of clothing.

7. Gold's Gym, Our Official Gym will give the first and second place winners in each class one year memberships. Total value $2,000.00

8. Enjoy Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Athletic Club as our official Health Club.

First and second place winners will receive one year memberships will workout in the Las Vegas Athletic Clubs at no charge. Total Value 4,000.00

9. Outfit your home gym with flooring and rubber weight plates by RB Rubber Products. Color Flec-lock flooring will cover a 20' x 20' gym for both winners. Total Value is worth $4,200.00

10. First place winners will receive $2,500.00 cash in each of the categories.

11. One of the top female finalist will receive complete Breast Augmentation by Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Institute of Nevada. Surgery will be performed by Dr. Richard M. Hodnett of Las Vegas. This Prize will be paid for by 2000 Weider Awards Model Quest president. Total worth over $5,000.00.

12. Both Women's and Mens first place winners will receive a beautiful three foot by five foot self portrait of yourself by: Renowned Artist Jason Doll. This prize is valued at $6,000.00

13. First place winners will have a featured cover shot with Nutri-Mag Magazine. Your picture will be seen by thousands.

14. Both Women's and Mens winners will have the opportunity to be our official Models for the 2001 Model Quest.

15. Sun Laboratories will give $1,000.00 cash to the woman and man who has the best tan and unbelievable healthy look.

16. The 2000 Weider Girl and Guy winner's will receive a professional (Hollywood Screen Test).

Remember, this is a first of its type in the World. This is not a pageants, Fitness Event or a Bodybuilding Contest. It is a Model Quest for that special person who has the look and killer Instinct to be the best. The name Weider for the past sixty years has been for the most part the single solitary force in the health, fitness and bodybuilding industry. Like the first Mr. Olympia, Miss Olympia and Fitness Olympia. Your name will be the First 2000 Weider Women and Weider Man. Your name will be remembered for years to come.
